Music Videography

By creating high-quality video content, I help artists enhance their engagement with online audiences.

Case Studies - Live Concerts

Lindsay Boven at The Mint, Los Angeles

Artist: Lindsay Boven

The Project: Lindsay Boven performs an acoustic set of her debut album “Waiting for Midnight” at The Mint in Los Angeles. Content included a tripod recording of the full set, as well as handheld clips before and during the show, including this sample.

Eivind Opsvik at Close Up, NYC

Artist: Eivind Opsvik

The Project: Eivind Opsvik’s quintet performs two sets at Close Up NYC, an intimate bar and live music venue in Manhattan. Content includes a full recording of one set on a single camera. This project is an example of filming a tight space with low light.

Cus Campbell at The City Winery, Philadelphia

The Project: Cus Campbell headlines a show at the City Winery with his band. Content includes handheld clips taken before, during, and after the show, including moments where Cus interacts with the audience, such as this sample which was taken from on-stage.

Case Studies - Music Videos & Short Form

Footstep Forest - Music Video

Artist: Ryan Dirgins (also director and editor)

The Project: directed and edited by Ryan Dirgins, this music video for Ryan’s latest single “Footstep Forest” tells a cinematically beautiful story from a relatively simple production set. I was a cinematographer on the project, alongside Violet Stone.

Win Me Over - Short Form

Artist: Jessica Andrea

The Project: a dedicated short form project promoting Jessica Andrea’s single “Win Me Over”. Content included filming and editing three in-person video shoots for this song. This sample was shot in Brooklyn with the Manhattan skyline in the background, and is an example of many similar clips (horizontal and vertical) made for TikTok and Instagram.

Let You Go - Music Video

Artist: ROM COM

The Project: This music video for ROM COM’s song “Let You Go” was made in Nashville in the style of a 1980s romantic comedy film. I directed, produced, and edited this video for YouTube and other platforms. Some of the footage from the shoot was separately used as short-form content.

Music Videography FAQs

  • For concerts, I offer a variety of single-cam and multi-cam setups, ranging from short-form clips with dynamic motion, to full show recordings on a tripod.

I also offer dedicated short form shoots, aimed at promoting new music, as well as planning and shooting full music videos and visualizers.

  • The best option for recording high sound quality is to obtain a copy of the live sound mix from the venue’s sound technician (subject to venue restrictions and fees). For smaller-budget projects, sound may be recorded from a directional microphone attached to the camera(s).

  • Yes! I offer affordable rates for day travel to cities nearby NYC, such as Philly and Boston, as well a competitive pricing for long-distance travel to cities like Los Angeles and Nashville.
